Welcome

Lakers are driven by our passion for learning and using that knowledge for the common good. We look outward, focusing on others instead of ourselves. As alumni, we use our Grand Valley education to tackle challenges and make meaningful, lasting contributions. This is our Laker Effect and it is what sets us apart as leaders, problem solvers, and advocates who help shape the future. The GVSU Alumni Volunteer Program exists to engage alumni in supporting Grand Valley and enabling the next generation of Lakers. Our volunteer opportunities are grouped into four areas that reflect the needs and priorities of the Grand Valley community. No matter your skill set, interests, or where you are located, there is a way for you to engage and give back as a Laker for a Lifetime.
