The GVSU Alumni Board of Directors serves as the representative body of the GVSU Alumni and the premiere alumni advisory board to the University. The goal of the Board’s work is to promote mutually beneficial relationships that keep alumni engaged, informed, and connected to one another and the University. The Board serves as a vital partner to the Alumni Relations office in its efforts to empower alumni to achieve their lifelong learning and professional development goals.

The first memory that comes to mind is one that took place long after graduation. On November 15, 2019 I sat in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena and watched the university officially welcome its first-ever female president, Philomena Mantella.
