This program is designed for non-teaching majors who plan to work with young children and their families. The minor emphasizes the development of children from birth to kindergarten, focusing on whole child development, special education, family and community relationships, and effective teaching methods.
You will take various courses that cover essential topics like infant and toddler development, emergent literacy, child guidance, and integrated curriculum through play. This curriculum is designed for you to become well-prepared to address the diverse needs of young children in various educational settings.
