Biography

Hsiao-ping Chen received her Ph.D. in art education from The Ohio State University. She teaches courses about K-12 studio and teaching practices, visual arts integration, and digital creativity. Her areas of research interest include computer technologies, curriculum integration, assessment, youth identity formation, and popular culture. She is the author of the book, From Artmaking to Identity Making, and co-author of the book, Introduction to Integrating Music, Art, and Theater in Elementary Education.
