Biography

Bill Hosterman is a Professor in Foundations, Drawing and Printmaking. He is the faculty director of The Padnos Student Gallery. Hosterman received his undergraduate degree in printmaking from Penn State University in 1995 and a graduate degree in printmaking from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1999. From 1995-1996 he was in Southern Africa studying art and printmaking while on a Fulbright Grant. Working primarily in printmaking, Hosterman has exhibited his work nationally and internationally. During May and June of 2012, he was one of the artist at The Jentel Artists Residency Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. In May of 2013 he attended The Paper and Book Intensive at Ox-Bow Artists Residency Center in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Bill Hosterman - Guide: A surreal, floating rock formation twists skyward, adorned with clusters of trees and foliage. Clouds surround it, creating a mystical, ethereal atmosphere.
