Biography

Ashlee McGreevy was born and raised in the small farming community of Corunna, Michigan. After exploring the wilderness of Michigan’s upper peninsula during her undergraduate work at Northern Michigan University, Ashlee returned to lower Michigan and settled in Grand Rapids. In 2013 she earned her master’s degree in fine art from Kendall College of Art and Design. Over the past 9 years, Ashlee has taught photography courses at Lansing Community College, Kendall College of Art & Design, and Grand Valley State University. Ashlee is also active in the visual and performing arts community.

Ashlee’s work utilizes a variety of cameras and mediums to explore the relationship between memory, time, and place. You can learn more about her work by visiting her website at ashleelambartphotography.com. In addition to her career in arts education, Ashlee is a freelance commercial photographer. Her work includes food photography, event photography, and production photography. In her free time, Ashlee enjoys exploring off-the-beaten path with her wife and cat by her side.
