Faculty Awarded National Science Foundation Grant

On October 30, 2017, Associate Professor Jerry L. Johnson and two faculty from the College of Engineering at GVSU were awarded a National Science Foundation, 5 year grant titled RISE: Retaining and Inspiring Students in Science and Engineering. As a co-pi on the grant, Johnson, along with social work colleagues, Dr. Melissa Villarreal, Dr. Salvador Lopez-Arias, and Dr. Lihua Huang will conduct the research into and evaluation of the grant program.
