CSWE Annual Program Meeting

Drs. Lihua Huang (left) and Salvador Lopez-Arias (right) presented at the annual program meeting of the Council on Social Work Education Saturday, October 24, 2026. Their presentation included MSW alumna and current Ph.D. student Sarah Hassan (center) and was entitled "Storytellers and bendable strengths: Culturally grounded resilience in older adults". Additionally, Prof. Haresh Dalvi presented a paper, "Assessing mindfulness and resilience in social work education: Evidence for EPAS-aligned self-care outcomes." Finally, Dr. Jamie Langlois and alumna Ophelia Zornu shared "A systematic literature review of trauma-informed and anti-oppressive social work supervision to build resilience".
