About Phi Alpha:

Phi Alpha is a national honor society for social work students.  Graduating BSW students qualify for acceptance with a 3.5 GPA and MSW students are eligible with a 3.75 GPA.  The purpose of the Chi Epsilon Chapter of the society at Grand Valley State University is to foster high standards of education for social workers, to encourage excellence in scholarship and achievement and to promote humanitarian goals and ideas.  Thereby, each year we recognize scholastic achievement and excellence among students and faculty involved in the undergraduate and graduate social work program.
