Dimensions of Wellness Icons
Following the 2026 GVSU Wellness Summit, the Division of People, Equity and Culture wants to remind faculty and staff that wellness isn’t something we focus on once a year; it’s something we can continue to build into how we work and how we care for one another.
In our monthly newsletters, we’ll be highlighting wellness opportunities with a special icon related to one of the eight dimensions of wellness, featuring ways you can engage and support your well-being throughout the year. Read on to view the "key" and learn which icons to look for.

By focusing on the whole person and the whole community, well-being becomes a shared goal and a shared responsibility. Understanding the 8 dimensions of wellness can help guide your personal well-being during your college experience, and wherever else you may go. Learn more from the student wellness page.
