The Division of People, Equity, and Culture (PEC) was created in October 2024, bringing together the functions of Human Resources, Inclusion and Equity, Office of Civil Rights and Title IX, Labor and Employee Relations, and the Employee Ombuds.
"The People, Equity and Culture team will spearhead strategic initiatives, forge collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and ensure we all remain accountable to fostering an environment where every individual feels not only supported but truly empowered to thrive. By doing so, we will clear a path for everyone to pursue their passions and purpose with unwavering confidence."
– Robert Shorty, Vice President for People, Equity, and Culture
