Faculty & Staff Visitor Request
Faculty & Staff can request visitor parking for university-related business, campus events, or validation parking requests on the City Campus
Request a day visitor permit for individuals visiting campus. Request up to 9 visitor passes per request.
Request visitor parking for university-sponsored events
Request parking ticket validations for visitors on the City Campus who utilize our new parking and revenue-controlled lots.
Ticket number required: fees and payment could be required if ticket number is not provided.
Student Organization Events that need permits for non-affiliated GVSU visitors: please contact your student org Faculty/Staff contact person to fill out an Event Request form.

Day Visitor Permit Request
Request an overnight visitor permit for individuals visiting campus.
Visitors may obtain a permit from one of our Parking Services offices or may park by using Pay-2-Park locations across campus. Permits must be obtained before parking on campus unless utilizing a Pay-2-Park location.
Special Vehicle Parking
Parking information for trailers and busses.
Trailers
Trailer parking on both the Allendale and Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus must be approved by the authority of parking services.
Busses
Allendale/Valley Campus:
Buses are permitted to park in Lot J.
Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids/City Campus:
Bus parking is not allowed on the Grand Rapids Campuses. Buses are encouraged to park next to the Ford Museum (303 Pearl St SW) on the street.
Accessible Parking (ADA)
During the time of parking on campus, a valid GVSU permit must always accompany the ADA placard or plate designation. If ADA-compliant parking spaces are not available, the ADA permit holder may, with a valid GVSU permit and a valid ADA placard or plate displayed, park in a Faculty/Staff or student space.
If you need special ADA parking for a GVSU-hosted event, please indicate that request when you submit an event request.
