BILLING
- Semester permits are available for purchase throughout the year, however, prices are not prorated.
- If a semester permit is purchased in the fall semester, it will automatically be renewed in the winter semester.
- Permit charges are billed directly to your student account based on your enrolled credit hours per semester.
PERMIT REFUNDS
Permit refunds are based on the same tuition refund schedule as Student Accounts.
To request a refund, please fill out the permit refund request form located on this page.
** REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVIN AFTER THE 75% REFUND DATE**

Please fill out the permit refund request form if you are not in need of a parking permit for the 25-26 Academic Year.
Please note that after a permit refund is completed, allow 2-4 business days for that to reflect onto your student account.
The permit refund request form will only be available during the refund period, this aligns with the set GVSU refund schedule.
Winter Semester 26' 100% Refund Deadline is January 16, 2026 @ 5PM
Refunds submitted after 5PM on January 16 will only be accepted at 75%.
