Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue and ensuring efficient operations. The General Manager will be responsible for leading a team, managing front desk operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This positional is with a Marriott property, so having Fosse knowledge is preferred.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations, including front desk management and guest services.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Manage revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and profitability.
Oversee the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to maintain service excellence.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
Implement hotel policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

Qualifications

Experience

Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and staff development.
Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
Proficiency in revenue management techniques to drive profitability.
Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit processes.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
Ability to lead a diverse team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
