Sales Assistant - Service Agent

Description

This is an entry level hourly position with an opportunity to learn and grow with a small hotel ownership group in the Grand Rapids / Walker area. We currently operate the Hilton Home2 Suites in Walker, with a new Hilton Homewood Suites currently under construction 3 miles away. The Homewood Suites will open in late 2025 or early 2026.

This is a hybrid role. The candidate we are seeking will eventually work at both locations but will start work at the Home2 property's service desk as a service agent.

The candidate will be learning the Hilton PEP front office systems and other brand standard requirements and will be evaluated over a 3–6-month period for additional training as a sales support assistant for both properties sales departments.

Qualifications

Motivated, with an outgoing, high-energy personality. Patience is needed, we will teach and coach many aspects of the industry and our operations, but the work ethic and dedication must be there both the candidate and the hotel to be successful. Customer service experienced is desired, but if the candidate's personality is good for matching needs with service in a service industry it will work. The successful candidate must efficient, organized, and detail oriented.
