Why did you choose graduate studies at GVSU?
Being in a business program, it made perfect sense to join GVSU and the Seidman College of Business, which is located right at the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, a city that is booming in economic development.
What appealed to you the most about the degree program in Business?
The hands-on approach towards teaching and the willingness from faculty members to provide any help needed, was what appealed to me the most. I was in communication with few faculty members via email before I arrived at GVSU and was already excited to meet them. Having several global companies in close vicinity would definitely help obtain applicable learning and professional opportunities.
What was your best experience at GVSU or in Grand Rapids?
My best experience at GVSU was being a part of the Seidman dean's office, various student organizations and the Cook Leadership Academy. I met many wonderful people and could actually experience growth and maturity not only in the professional arena, but also in an overall personal sense. Grand Rapids is home for me and I will always cherish the relationships I built in and with the city.
