Tuition and Fees

Grand Valley is one of the most affordable colleges in Michigan. The information provided below will help you understand our tuition, housing, dining, and parking permit costs.

Tuition is based on the classification of the student and the course: undergraduate lower or upper division, resident, or non-resident; and graduate by program. These are figures for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Effective with the Spring/Summer 2020 semester, Grand Valley State University will no longer assess the $25 additional tuition charge per credit hour for all Online and Hybrid courses.  Tuition and Fees will be charged at the same rate whether instruction is delivered in-person, online, or through hybrid platforms.
