Description: As part of our commitment to encourage responsible borrowing and help students maximize free money to help pay for college, Discover is happy to announce a new scholarship sweepstakes for students. We are giving away $50,000 in scholarships to high school and undergraduate students. Now through February 29, 2016, students are automatically entered to win a $2,500 scholarship when they sign up to receive helpful tips on planning and paying for college. 

Five winners will be randomly drawn on:
June 8, 2016
September 6, 2016
December 6, 2016
March 7, 2017

No purchase or student loan necessary for students to enter or win. 

Eligibility: 

  • High school seniors 16 years of age or older
  • Undergraduate students 16 years of age or older
  • Must be planning to attend or continuing to attend an eligible college of university
