Trillium Institute Scholarship
Description: Palliative care is emerging as an invaluable resource for patients and families at a critical time of life. Palliative care relieves suffering and improves the quality of life for patients and families living with life-defining illnesses. It can be available to patients with serious illnesses of all types, in all locations, and is supported by all insurance plans. The Interprofessional Palliative and Hospice Care Certificate program is designed for nurses, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, physicians, physician assistants and others involved in the care for patients with serious illnesses.
To apply for the scholarship, you are invited to write a 1,000-word essay on why you are motivated to advance the practice of palliative care in your career and in your community.
Eligibility: All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States. All applicants must be credentialed in nursing, social work, chaplaincy, pharmacy, or medicine (including nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
