Professor Rob Franciosi's recently published article in Inside Higher Ed examines the conundrum that many retired faculty members face - what to do with all the books? Having recently been asked to go through the books of a colleague who had recently passed prompted Franciosi to reflect on the meaning of the accumulation of all those books - and what to do with them.
