University Report on Public School Academy Authorizing
The University Report on Public School Academy Authorizing fulfills requirements contained within Michigan Public Act 15 of 2025 (PA 15), Section 275k.
This report is submitted annually by December 1 to the the Michigan House and Senate appropriations subcommittees on higher education, the House and Senate fiscal agencies, the state budget director, and the Michigan Department of Education.
Portfolio Performance Report
The Portfolio Performance Report details the most recent academic performance results for GVSU charter public schools, along with portfolio-wide demographics and the educational outcomes that stem from support GVSU provides to its charter public schools.
Readers will come away an understanding of how well GVSU-chartered schools are performing and what GVSU is doing to help schools succeed.
School Performance Reports
School Performance Reports are annually provided to charter school boards and leaders to show them how well their school is meeting its charter contract goals. The reports include GVSU’s analysis of the school’s academic, organizational, and fiscal capacity; organizational and fiscal compliance status; and other key data points.

Annual Report
The division's Annual Report highlights how the GVSU DEISS furthered its mission and, in part, supported the K-12 charter public schools authorized by GVSU. The report is typically released in early July at the start of the new academic year.
