The College of Computing at GVSU is dedicated to supporting faculty in their research and professional development. On this page, you will find a variety of funding resources to help faculty pursue innovative projects and career growth. For Professional Development/Travel Funds requests, please follow the procedure below:

1. Faculty member works with FTLC and CSCE to secure funding. List Robert Adams, AD for Graduate Education, as the "unit head" for approval.
2. Faculty member submits the College of Computing PD fund request form.
3. AD will verify available funds and notify the faculty if their request is approved. AD will cc the appropriate C3 to alert them. The C3 will update our internal spreadsheet with the details.
4. FTLC and CSCE unit head approvals will go to the AD. AD will verify the numbers match the spreadsheet and approve the requests. 
5. When the faculty member wants reimbursement, they work with their departmental C3.
