Student Success Center
The College of Computing Student Success Center (SSC) is located in MAK A-1-101 and is provided to help students succeed in introductory classes including but not limited to CIS 101, CIS 160, CIS 162, CIS 163, CIS 231, CIS 238, and CIS 241. Services include scheduled and walk-in tutoring, faculty office hours and group study sessions. Be sure to check out the schedule below for scheduled class times.
The College of Computing SSC offers both in-person and online (via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra) tutoring. You can access the virtual tutoring sessions on Blackboard located in “My Organizations.” For more information or questions please email [email protected].
If the drop-in tutoring hours offered by SSC do not work for you, you can schedule Appointment Tutoring via the Tutoring Center: Schedule a 50-minute individual tutoring appointment online through The Tutoring Center for CIS classes (CIS 162, CIS 163, CIS 263). Appointments can be made in advance for just one week or you can schedule ahead and meet every week. Make an appointment with a tutor.
