Student Travel and Study Support Request

Use this form to request support from the College of Computing Dean’s Office for student travel opportunities, support for extracurricular events related to your major, or to support your studies for poster printing. Funding from the Dean’s Office should be requested only after all other University funding options have been explored.

Funding Details

Dean’s Office funding is intended as final-dollar support, covering remaining costs only after all other University funding options have been fully explored.
Students are limited to one funded request per academic year.
Club activities may request additional funds subject to availability and approval.
Funding request is subject to approval and requires a paragraph description of the nature of the request. Be sure to address specifics of the opportunity and clearly explain how it will benefit your academic pursuits at GVSU.

After the Event
Students agree to provide the following as condition of the support:

Event photos showing student participation (at least one photo should include other participants in the background). (If you travel to a conference or participate in an event.)
A collaboration to create an article for the College website or newsletter, which may also be shared in donor support stories.
