Computing professor honored with Outstanding Graduate Mentorship Award

Dr. Samah Mansour has been recognized with the Outstanding Graduate Mentorship Award. Graduate students are invited to nominate faculty members they feel deserve special recognition for exemplary mentorship. An outstanding mentor encourages the development of individual talent through advising graduate level research and promoting professional development opportunities beyond the classroom and demonstrates respect and a sincere and active interest in the well-being of students.

Isaac Beasley, a graduate student in the Cybersecurity program, nominated Dr. Mansour.

"Dr. Mansour's mentorship has been instrumental in my success as a graduate student. Her unwavering commitment to my growth as a scholar and a person was evident in her tireless efforts to provide me with the support and resources I needed. I will always remember the late nights she spent reviewing my CISO interviews for my Master's Project, providing insightful feedback, and guiding me towards success.

"Through her mentorship, I have gained invaluable knowledge and skills that have helped me excel academically and professionally. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and support, and I am confident her mentorship will continue to inspire and guide me throughout my career."

Dr. Mansour will be honored at the Graduate School Celebration this evening.

Congratulations, Dr. Mansour!
