1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduating from GVSU, I have spent 20 years working in
local child welfare services. I have since moved on to the Health
Department where I supervise two local public health programs.
Additionally, I am an adjunct professor with the GVSU School of Social Work.
2. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Always bet on yourself!
3. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Life, changing, and quick
4. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I would like to continue to be part of the work to address
maternal and child birth disparities for women of color.
