1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation, I began my event career journey by starting off as an Events Manager for the Redwater Collection. After one year, I had an opportunity to join the non-profit world at the Chamber of Commerce in Grand Haven, Michigan. In this role, I coordinate and market our community events and programs ranging from festivals to farmers' markets to parades.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite memory of Grand Valley was when one of my meeting and event classes coordinated the Career Center Open house, and at the time I was a student worker at the Career Center for almost four years. We had a very successful turnout and a great theme! It was very empowering to be able to lead an event for them at that point during my time at GVSU.

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
The best piece of advice I have ever received is to make sure that you are processing, before reacting. This can be in regard to things that are being said or done, or how you feel about a life situation that you are in.

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Rewarding, Connected, Engaged

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
The difference that I would like to make in this world is to make my communities feel more connected and comfortable with one another.
