1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduating from GVSU amid the pandemic in 2020, I moved
across the country to Orlando, Florida to begin my career in marketing
and communications! Since embarking on this new adventure, I have
grown so much professionally and learned many new skills. In my
current role at the University of Central Florida, I serve the College
of Sciences as the Marketing Communications Specialist and tell the
inspiring stories of students, faculty, and staff through digital
communications! I am also currently a graduate student at the
University of Florida pursuing my MA in Mass Communication.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
One of my favorite GVSU memories is taking BIO 109 "Plants
in the Word" with Elise Hollister. She is an amazing professor
who really made an impact on me and my educational journey!
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
The best piece of advice I have ever received is to always stay
true to yourself. As commonly stated as this is, it couldn't be more important.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Formative, empowering, and intellectually stimulating
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I would love to empower young women to advocate for themselves in
the workplace and always remember their value and worth.
