“I chose GVSU because I enjoy the smaller classes led by professors. Class is more personal and it's easy to build relationships with professors and other students. Last summer I even helped one of my professors complete a research project he had been working on for years. I never would have thought I would have such opportunities and relationships before coming to GVSU.”

“I chose Grand Valley because it was a great price for the quality of education! I also was able to participate in exciting opportunities, such as starring in a virtual tour video so students could get a feel for the campus and its environment (which is my favorite part!) even if they can't visit in-person.”

“While at Grand Valley I have been very lucky to gain great work experience in my field. As a Sport Management major, I work in the Athletics department, with hands on experience related to the logistics and operations at a big university with an impressive athletic program. My favorite part is seeing all the students in the stands at Lubbers Stadium or the Fieldhouse cheering on their peers. It shows how much Laker unity and pride there is across campus.”
