Respiratory care is a vital health care specialty focused on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
This program offers a comprehensive, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Graduates are adequately prepared for the national certification exam and successful careers as respiratory therapists.
You will take classes in human anatomy and physiology, cardiopulmonary pharmacology, mechanical ventilation, and advanced respiratory care techniques. The program also includes hands-on clinical rotations at multiple healthcare facilities, offering extensive real-world experience using state-of-the-art equipment and emerging technologies to deliver effective and compassionate patient care.
