The coursework for the Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship certificate requires 9 credits. Students must complete three courses that cover entrepreneurial quest, new venture feasibility, and entrepreneurial management and marketing. These courses provide a comprehensive exploration of entrepreneurship topics and skills, ensuring students are well-prepared to manage their careers and business ventures.
This certificate allows students to apply their entrepreneurial skills to various situations, including non-profit organizations, corporate new product or business development, or their own businesses. It includes mentoring and support from experienced faculty and local entrepreneurial organizations, enhancing students' degrees and resumes, and making them more competitive in the job market. Plus, the certificate can be completed in one year or less and is offered face-to-face at Grand Valley's City Campus.
