Integrative studies offer students the chance to craft a personalized education plan tailored to their interests and career goals.
Working closely with faculty, students design a course plan that blends interdisciplinary study with the requirements of a B.A. or B.S., depending on their chosen degree. Students conduct innovative research and solve real-world problems in fields of personal interest. Cross-disciplinary knowledge gained through integrated studies creates well-prepared graduates for diverse and dynamic career paths.
You will collaborate with over 20 full-time, nationally award-winning faculty members to gain an interdisciplinary foundation in liberal education, ethics, and critical thinking. A focus on investigating and engaging in real-world problems and solutions is a highlight of this program.
The program offers flexible degree pathways to fit all learners. You will gain real-world work experience through internships and create valuable networking opportunities that lead to job connections, with experiential learning opportunities available in Allendale, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and Detroit. The program strengthens intercultural and interpersonal skills through collaboration, problem-solving, leadership training, and adaptation.
