From recruitment and training, compensation and employee relations, and labor law compliance, HR professionals ensure organizational goals align with employee needs, creating a productive and motivated workforce. Grand Valley teaches cutting-edge concepts through case studies, real company projects, and internships to prepare students for future leadership roles.
The major includes diverse courses covering key areas like benefits management, strategic HR management, and international HR management. You will study organizational development, staffing and development, and the dynamics of a diversified workforce.
You will work with distinguished faculty who have extensive business expertise and work closely with students to establish and carry out career goals. The curriculum integrates current technology in the vibrant business environment of downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Direct Admission
Each year, the Seidman College of Business admits a select few students directly into the business college as first-year students. This honor is reserved for students who have a 26 or higher composite score on the ACT, or a score of 1240 and higher on the SAT, and a 3.5 or higher high school GPA.
