Jewelry alum thriving in small vintage jewelry business

Jen Host (BFA, Jewelry and Metalsmithing) has found success in her career by becoming a small-business entrepreneur. Host started a company named "The Grand Strands" and decided to associate her training with a national network of vintage jewelry designers. Through the network, she host events to sell her pieces directly to customers. The events may happen at a variety of venues, including her own house, where jewelry stands carefully display earrings, bracelets, necklaces and charms.

On October 7, Jen and another friend of hers will get together to have a neighborhood fashion show in her local neighborhood of Alger Heights. Titled "Strut Your Stuff”, the pop up Boutique will be held on Paris Ave SE on Saturday, October 7 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. All are welcome!
