1. International Society for Ceramic Art Education and Exchange Symposium in Turkey: Akdeniz University , Antalya, Turkey
Oct. 1 – 11, 2013
Hoon Lee received an invitation to attend the 2013 The International Society for Ceramic Art Education and Exchange International Ceramic Art Symposium in Turkey. The symposium is one of the largest international ceramic symposia and this year 32 universities from 15 countries were invited to participate in the symposium, including GVSU.
2. ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE: The Maihar Art Retreat Ceramic Symposium organized by Gallery Sanskriti in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, India
Jan. 20 – Feb. 5, 2013
Hoon Lee was invited to be an international artist-in-residence at The Maihar Art Retreat in Maihar, India. The program will be 2 weeks in duration, providing both time and space for Hoon to pursue a self-directed creative study.
3. 2012 UGA Cortona, Italy Studies Abroad Program Ceramics Instructor: Fall 2012 Semester
Hoon was invited to teach The Cortona Program in Italy Ceramics program as a semester-long Faculty Teaching Abroad for the Fall 2012.
