David Huang-Selected As 2013 Distinguished Alumni for The Dept. of A&D

 

David Huang has been chosen as the 2013 Distinguished Alumni from the Department of Art and Design.

He was honored at the Annual CLAS Distinguished Alumni Luncheon on October 18th at the GVSU Alumni House. David graduated in 2001 Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Studio Art emphasis Jewelry/Metalsmithing. Upon graduation, David had a well-established studio in Sand Lake, Michigan where he feverously pursued galleries and the sale of his work. David is currently represented by some of the foremost craft galleries in the country and his work has been shown in over 100 exhibitions nationally and internationally. He has been published in five books, featured in dozens of articles, and his work resides in numerous public and private collections including Grand Valley State University and Muskegon Museum of Art.
