Biography
Ryan Schollmeier earned his Ph.D. in Logistics from Michigan State University and both his MBA and BS in Supply Chain Management from Miami University. Prior to his academic career, he spent over a decade in industry, including consulting and operation roles with Ernst & Young, NTT Data, and DHL. In these roles, he specialized in SAP-enabled supply chain transformation, warehouse operations, and logistics execution. His research interests include labor economics in supply chains, policy evaluation, warehouse operations, and resilience in supply networks. His work employs applied econometrics and causal inference techniques to evaluate policy impacts on labor markets and supply chain performance. His research has been published in the Journal of Business Logistics.
