Biography
Dr. Steve Glover brings a multidisciplinary teaching perspective spanning marketing and finance, supported by 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. During his industry career, he served as a Vice President at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he raised over $10 billion in assets and delivered more than 2,000 professional presentations. Prior to that he built a successful financial advisory practice and served as a staff spokesperson for a U.S. Congressman. He joined Grand Valley State University in 2021, initially teaching finance before transitioning to marketing. His teaching emphasizes real-world application, with a strong focus on helping students transition successfully into professional careers. His research focuses on consumer behavior in financial decision-making, including both traditional investment products and emerging technologies such as cryptocurrencies. He has dedicated his second career in academia to giving back through teaching, research, and consulting.
