Biography
Benjamin Walsh is a Professor of Management in the Seidman College of Business. He received his Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Connecticut, after which he worked as Assistant and Associate Professor of Management at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Ben teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resource management, and his scholarship addresses work stress and employee well-being, with a focus on counterproductive behaviors such as workplace incivility and sexual harassment. His research is published in outlets such as Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and Journal of Business Ethics. Ben is an editorial board member of Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and Occupational Health Science. Ben has completed consulting and applied research projects for organizations such as IBM, the Federal Railroad Administration, and the U.S. Department of Defense, and he currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan.
