Biography
Dr. Joshua York earned his Ph.D. in economics from Texas A&M University in May 2024. His research focuses on monetary policy and inflation expectations, with specific interest in how individuals form expectations about future economic outcomes. Aligned with his research interests, he teaches both introductory and intermediate macroeconomic courses. Before his doctorate, he earned his B.S. in economics from Purdue University, his M.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and spent time as a research economist for the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
