Biography
Dr. Micayla Downey received her Ph.D. in Marketing from Michigan State University. She holds a B.S. in Management and Marketing from Purdue University (2016) and a Master of Science in Marketing Research from Michigan State University (2021). She also has nearly 5 years of experience working in the market research industry prior to academia where she got to answer important brand, product, and pricing questions for some of the most recognizable brands in the world (including Microsoft, Amazon, and Carfax). She currently teaches basic marketing, while her primary research interests include the role of emotions and gender in decision-making.
