Biography
Dr. Leo earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. His research investigates how firms organize for innovation, manage knowledge, and adapt to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. He has examined topics including modular product and organizational design, IT outsourcing, and ambidextrous organization in the automotive industry. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Leo worked in Silicon Valley as a technical analyst, contributing to the development of expert systems and enterprise software applications. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Multinational Business Review, and Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, among others.
