Biography
Dr. Williams earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Science and an M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from UNC Charlotte in 2020. Her current research focuses on how emotions and social connections influence people’s experiences at work, with an emphasis on the role of leaders in supporting employees to navigate their emotions effectively. Her research has been published in The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Research Methods, and Journal of Management. She also serves on the editorial boards of The Leadership Quarterly and Journal of Business and Psychology.
