Trips out to the lakeshore - Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, and all the attractions and beaches in between - were always a highlight of my time at GV regardless of the season.

Trips out to the lakeshore - Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, and all the attractions and beaches in between - were always a highlight of my time at GV regardless of the season.
I remember tailgating at a Grand Valley playoff game in December while it was snowing. It was a great time and felt special having a home game so late in the season. The best part of Grand Valley was the people.
During my Freshman year, I played on the Varsity Volleyball Club and absolutely loved the practices and the people I met through our travels. I even went on to play competitive beach volleyball with some of them.
There are too many to count. Some of my favorite memories are of how the campus community came together. The GVSU Lip-Dub video, the "Wrecking Ball" era and the Snowpocalypse of 2011 are some of my favorites.
Being a transitions leader and on the Go Team was the best experience to welcome everyone back to campus (freshmen and TLs) in an exciting and fun way!
Grand Valley gave me some of the best memories, such as studying abroad in Ghana with the Honors College, working at the Dean of Students office and CLAS advising.
