Anything and everything to do with the Laker Marching Band.
One of my accounting professors (Sopariwala) once sat with me for 2 hours straight to help me understand my homework and prepare for the final exam. After he graded mine, he emailed me to let me know he was proud of my grade.
My favorite memory at Grand Valley was racing for the Ski and Snowboard Club, the experience gave me lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
My favorite GVSU memory is Mrs. Jamison's writing exploration class. I learned so much about other people in that class as she really encouraged us to open up and share our stories.
Trips out to the lakeshore - Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, and all the attractions and beaches in between - were always a highlight of my time at GV regardless of the season.
