Show off your Laker spirit this Homecoming by participating in the GVSU Homecoming Office Decorating Competition! During the week of Homecoming, we invite all departments/units to transform their outer-facing windows and internal office spaces into vibrant displays of GV pride!

September 28-October 2
It's time to start gathering supplies! Decorating for the competition begins Monday, September 28, the week of Homecoming. Enter your photos by Friday, October 2 at 5 p.m. to compete.
Guidelines & Rules
- No paints of any kind; window markers are acceptable.
- Out of respect for our custodial colleagues, cleaning is the responsibility of the department and should be cleaned the following week.
- Decorations must reflect Laker spirit; signature blue/black/white is encouraged.
- Each unit will be responsible for providing their own decorations/supplies.

Enter your department or unit's office into the contest by uploading up to 5 photos of your decor.
No office decoration is too small! All offices on the Valley Campus, City Campus, and Regional Locations are encouraged to participate.
Vote For Your Favorites
All GVSU faculty and staff will be eligible to vote for their favorite office decor! Voting will begin Monday, October 5, and will remain open through the Tuesday after homecoming, October 6.
Win Prizes
It's a battle of the campuses! Winners will be selected for the Valley Campus, City Campus, and Regional Locations.
