Birding is rapidly growing in popularity and has known health benefits for mind and body. Join this walk to find out how it can benefit you while identifying local breeding birds by sight and sound. Learn what resources are available to help you pursue this wonderful activity. Where: Grand Ravines North, Meet at the Lodge Bio: Curtis Dykstra is a Program Supervisor with Ottawa County Parks, where he manages public programming for the park system. He has over 25 years of experience as a naturalist, outdoor educator, and birder. He enjoys sharing his passion for birds by leading bird walks, field trips and programming for the local birding community as a part of his job role.
