The most helpful aspects of my undergraduate education in mathematics were: I'm not sure that I use much of my undergraduate mathematics knowledge directly, but the indirect training in problem solving is something I do apply on a daily basis.
The advice I’d offer to current undergraduate students in mathematics: Pursue your passion. The rest tends to figure itself out anyway.
In a typical day in my work, I: develop pricing models and support Product Management. The other part of my role is to identify, optimize, and automate processes across the organization.
Other thoughts/comments: I hate to admit it, but I probably should have taken a few more Stats courses.
