Ways to Give

Your choice, your way.

There are three primary ways donors give to Grand Valley State University. It is your choice, and all three methods of giving to Grand Valley are critically important for our students and our community.

Annual gifts can be in any amount and go to the fund of your choice each year. Your annual gifts provide ongoing support for students. Support your area of passion, a university priority, or the university’s greatest needs through a gift to the Grand Valley Fund or Laker Family Fund. Learn more about annual giving.

Special Gifts are given as needed to support priority projects, and help establish scholarships and endowed funds. These gifts provide support during a campaign or specific time, to an area when they are most needed.

Planned Gifts are gifts to Grand Valley that may come from wills or estates. They can go to any fund, and are commonly invested in long term endowments that keep giving to students for generations. There are many ways to establish a planned gift from a simple bequest in your will, to more specific financial arrangements. Learn more about planned giving.
