The Grand Valley University Foundation was chartered in 1965 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its purpose is to provide support for Grand Valley State University to assist in its goals and mission. This support provides student grants and scholarships, faculty and academic program development, capital maintenance and growth, and long-term fiscal security for the university.
The foundation is the umbrella organization and recognition society for all who give to the university through annual giving, capital campaigns, special giving or planned giving. The foundation also hosts special events for donors and friends, including the black-tie Enrichment Dinner, a tradition since 1976.
