The English Department is Working Remotely - Effective November 18, 2020

In accordance with the statewide public health order issued by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on November 15, the English Department will be operating fully remotely beginning on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 for a three week time period.

During this time, we will be closely monitoring our department email (engdept@gvsu.edu) and department voicemail (616-331-3400).

For additional information on University operations during this time period, visit the Lakers Together website: https://www.gvsu.edu/lakerstogether/

The English Department has moved...back to LHH!

After some delays due to COVID-19, we are pleased to announce that the Lake Huron Hall renovation is now complete! We couldn't be happier with the end results and are excited for students and faculty alike to enjoy all the newly renovated space has to offer.

Our main English Department office has officially moved to 235 LHH. We will still have a temporary presence in B-3-226 MAK until the end of the Fall 2020 semester.

Looking for a professor? Check our temporary office directory for their contact information. Please note: during the F20 semester, there will be no in-person office hours due to office sizes and social distancing requirements. Please contact your advisor to set up a virtual appointment. You can find faculty office hours listed as part of our temporary office directory as well.

Our main phone number and department email remain the same: (616) 331-3400; engdept@gvsu.edu.
